Museum of Weapons and Military Items Swidnica
The Museum of Weapons and Military Items Swidnica exists out of two parts. The first, situated in Niepodległości Alley was opened on January 1st 2001. In the museum you can find more than 1000 different weapons. Among them are 150 hand guns, automatic weapons and anti-tank weapon systems. The majority of exhibited objects come from the Second World War.
The museum manages a certified shooting range for light weapons. You can also take a chance on this range. You can shoot with a pneumatic pistol or with a sport weapon.
The Museum of Weapons and Military Items Swidnica has two establishments. The second museum is situated in Witoszow Dolny (about 5 km from the first museum). In this museum you will find remains of what the Polish army used during among others the Second World War. You can see here tanks, planes, armoured cars and canons.
